COLOR PRINTS & POSTER PATTERNS
There are many benefits of using color prints and poster patterns over painting the display yourself. In particular, they are flawless reproductions of the orginal. The lines are crisp and sharp, the colors are impeccable, and the entire print is consistant. Even the best painter will show imperfections in their painting, but a color print or poster pattern is always perfect. Mounting Instruction
1. Purchase quality outdoor plywood such as 3/8" or 1/2" G1S which has a very smooth flat surface.
2. Read the instructions supplied with the color print or poster pattern thoroughly before beginning work.
Precautions
When sawing, make sure you don't put your hands and knees all over the color print or poster pattern. Instead, lay a protective cloth over the areas that you are not cutting. Do not walk on the color print or poster pattern.
When sawing, cut slowly, A fast cut will cause the paper to tear.Try to keep the sawdust off the paper as you saw, so you don't grind or scrape the print with the sawdust grains.
If sanding is required after cutting the design out of the plywood, use a fine grit sandpaper or file, and sand downwards from the color print to the back. Do not sand with the cut line, or from the back to the front, as this will cause the edge to fray or tear.
